Affiliation and Recognition

Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh (CCS) University in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, is one of the best institutions in UP, if you consider the realm of medical education and research. Since its establishment in 2008, SIMS has made significant achievements, receiving approval from the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Government of India to start its MBBS program with an initial intake of 100 students, which was recognized in 2013.

History

In the academic year 2016-17, Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences expanded its capacity by an additional 50 MBBS seats. Currently, the institute educates 550 MBBS students along with 120 interns.

In 2013-14, SIMS also received permission to start its postgraduate (PG) courses, continuously expanding its services each year. Today, the institute has around 29 allowed PG seats for pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical departments. SIMS students consistently achieve top ranks in university examinations. The college was honored as the ‘Best Medical College in Delhi-NCR’ by Brands Academy in March 2012.

It has 11 major and 6 minor operation theaters, a well-facilitated labor room, and a nursery ward for premature infants. It is staffed by trained paramedics all day and night.
