Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College & Lion´s Seva Kendra Hospital, Kishanganj was sponsored and established by a Trust of Sikh religious minority community. It was established in 1990 with a purpose to provide the service of medical education & treatment to the most remote people in the society.

With the current leadership group which constitutes the director- Dr. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, Dr. Bijon Chandra Dutta, Principal & Dr. Papa Naik.H who is holding the position of Medical Superintendent.
