JEE Main Registration 2025: NTA is expected to release JEE Main Application Form 2025 for Session 1 in the 1st week of November 2024.  Candidates who are eligible can complete JEE Main Registration 2025 at the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in. The last date to complete JEE Main Registration 2025 can be expected in December 2024. NTA is going to conduct JEE Main 2025 Session 1 in January 2025. JEE Main Registration 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are seeking admission through JEE Main 2025 examination must go through JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2025 before applying for the exam. The eligibility criteria to appear in JEE Main 2025 exam are given in the table below.

  • Candidates who have passed class 12 in 2022, 2023, 2024, or appearing in 2025 are eligible to fill JEE Main Application Form 2025.
  • Candidates who have passed class 12 before 2022 are unable to apply for JEE Main 2025.
  • Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in class 12 along with any subject from Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
  • There is no requirement for any minimum marks in class 12 for appearing in JEE Main 2025 exam. However, candidates need to secure a minimum of 75% marks to get admission to IITs and NITs. 
  • There is no age limit to apply for JEE Main 2025

How To Fill JEE Main Application Form 2025?

Candidates need to fill out JEE Main Application Form 2025 online. The registration link will be updated at the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates can follow the below steps to complete JEE Main Registration 2025

  • Go to the official website of JEE Main at jeemain.nta.ac.in. 
  • From the homepage, click on the ‘JEE Main Registration’ link. 
  • Create a new registration.
  • Choose a login mode and identification for submission of the jee main application form. 
  • Enter the required details such as name, mobile number, and email address, and complete the registration.
  • After completing registration, login using an option – JEE Mains Digi locker login / ABC ID/application number.
  • Fill in the JEE Main 2025 Application Form with required details such as personal and educational details. 
  • Upload scanned images of photographs and signatures in the prescribed size. 
  • Pay the required application fee through credit card/debit card/net banking. 
  • Download the application confirmation and save it for further reference.

JEE Main 2025 Application Form Correction Facility

NTA will open a form correction window for JEE Main 2025 Application form at the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates who will enter the wrong information in their application form or upload defective images will be allowed to edit their wrong details through this correction window. Candidates will be allowed to change the below details

  • Personal Details: Spelling mistakes in name, parent’s name, etc can be corrected.
  • Academic Details: School details, year of passing, and qualifying exam can be corrected in this section.
  • Exam Centres: Candidates will not be able to change their choice of exam centres.
  • Category: Candidates can also change their category. If the candidates change their category from general to reserved, then fees will not be refunded. If candidates change their category from reserved to general, they will have to pay the balance fee. 
  • Change of Paper: The choice of paper from Paper 1 to Paper 2 as well as from Paper 2 to Paper 1. If candidates have applied for one paper and wish to apply for both papers they can do so on payment of the balance fee.
  • Language of Examination: The language can be changed from English to Hindi/Gujarati and vice versa.
  • Name, State of Eligibility, and Date of Birth can also be corrected by candidates

How to Check the Status of JEE Main Application Form 2025?

NTA will send a confirmation text to the registered email address and mobile number of the candidates. However, if students want to check the application status, they have to access the login using the application number and password. Students can check the status of their filled application form of JEE Main to have confirmation on the final submission of the application form. Students will see the status of their registration upon login. JEE application form status, as well as the status of the application fee payment, will be displayed on the screen.

JEE Main Registration 2025: How to Retrieve Lost Application Number or Password?

Candidates may forget their application number and password. NTA has a facility to help the candidates in such situations. Candidates can follow the below steps to retrieve their application number or password. 

  • Open the JEE Main application form 2025 official website – jeemain.nat.ac.in.
  • Click on the candidate login link.
  • Click on the forgot password link.
  • Enter the application number and date of birth.
  • Students will receive their password in their registered email address/mobile number.
